Funny Bunny

Purple blanket, please come up.

Cover me, cover all below my face.

On top of my tree, I sit while I lie down.

Sweet lullaby of the night,

Bring to me the repetition I’ve become accustomed to.

Those evil day people do not belong here.

No, they don’t belong in the night.

Though darkness is their friend, my night consists of neuro-light.

To be the one who saves you all, I need the power only the mind can give.

All goes according to plan, always.

The hero always wins and I am definitely not the villain.

One day my night and day will cross or so I let go, wishing.

Down the tree, I come and blow away the darkness.

The horizon looks beautiful, never-ending, even.

Time flies, but that is when he comes – the Funny Bunny.

Dear blanket, you were supposed to cover me.

Protect me from all those evil beings I hide from.

Never knew what it was like to be alone, but now I know.

Purple blanket, you’ve become nothing more than a curse.

And again, on top of my tree, I sit while I lie down.

Sweet lullaby of the night,

Bring to me the repetition I’ve become accustomed to.
